he is and excellent salesman,he has convinced us that the rich are to blame for our problems and the underprivileged should have there share of the wealth of others and all will be well again.i want to thank him for shearing the burden of paying for his stimulus plane with my grandchildren and great grandchildren. because it will take that long to pay back the loans he has made from .foreign country’s.god isn’t that what Hitler did?

The economy won’t grow, as evidenced by the 9.5% unemployment rate. Glad to see you get it.

I’d gladly pay higher taxes if I could land gainful employment.

Your question is excellent and goes straight to the point. Unfortunately,he believes that everyone is owed a living merely because they exist. He is an idiot!

Actually, President Obama is reducing the tax burden on lower and milddle class workers. He’s increasing the tax burden on the upper classes who can afford to pay more taxes because they have a lot more money. And the reason we are being taxed so much is because of all the public things we use–highways and streets, water systems, sometimes transit systems, etc. The cost of those things keep increasing to maintain and every single time some dungbrain idiot defaces a bus or a park bench or a public building, tax money goes into cleaning those things or replacing those things, money that could hve gone to something more fun if someone hadn’t mindlessly gone and defaced it. If people would stop littering so we wouldn’t need so much street cleaning there’d be money saved. Most of us, when we have to, can cut down on spending–don’t buy the lasted iPhone or gaming machine, don’t jump into the car to drive 6 blocks to the grocery store only to have to make basically the same trip an hour later to drop off the DVD. Back in my youth, and certainly back in my parents’ day, people didn’t eat out much because it is cheaper to cook at home; and we ate a lot of meatless meals since meat cost a lot. We didn’t throw food away, mom made sure food was eaten (whether we wanted it or not) before it went bad. People owned perhaps 3 pairs of shoes total! And that was only if you were lucky (I grew up having only a pair of sneakers and a pair of "dress" shoes). And people wore hand-me-downs from your older sibs or bigger kids who passed along tehir old clothes to you. People just didn’t spend money as they do now. So complaining about not being able to afford taxes is blatant lying. Sure, no one wants to have to have more of their hard earned money taken away for tax purposes. But when I hear my coworkers saying "I might have to take my kids out of catholic school because I can’t afford it" when they are about to take a vacation to Hawaii for 2 weeks and are paying for their cousins and nieces and nephews to go with them; and buying new cars because their current cars which are working perfectly well are "3 years old!"; and the husband is flying yet again this weekend cross country to play amateur baseball (and he’s spending more than $15,000 a year doing this), I just cannot sympathize. Most people have very very very lousy financial plans and are wasting money. Vacations far away are great when you have the extra money but you do not NEED to go away to have a vacation–vacations can be spent at home or just a few hours away from home. I go away, and usually not very far, only about every 5 years because I’d rather send my parents somewhere warm in winter now that they are old, I’d rather put that travel money toward my retirement because I won’t rely on any government aid. Yea, I’d love to keep all the money I make but I understand there is a need for taxes. Unions don’t make it better (and I’m a union supporter but there is a fine line between greed and making a living).

Maybe he has a plan that is designed to force people to go underground for their tax exempt purchases & non-payment of ALL taxes so that he will have a reason to print up more stimulus money to cover the collective new security departments that will be coming to seize property & weaken the spirit of the people as we all slowly lose control of any & all of our freedoms.

He has already taken over the banking institutions. Those institutions hold our money, mortgages, loans & essentially all that we have that is financed. If "they" can prove a person is defrauding the current administration or the IRS, then all assets are seized & voila! LAND GRAB complete! We aren’t all dumb. Some of us know what’s coming.

    Money
    Cars
    Houses…

What more could a LEO man want in life? He’s proving that he’s King of all the jungles that he can safely get into to. After that, he’ll most likely strong-arm all of us so we can become as humble as the rest of the 3rd world nations are.

I suspect this is designed so that those hostile nations who hate us won’t send a nuke our way. Could he be playing Daddy to the people of the US to "save" us from the evil doers of those other Nations? Don’t know. Don’t like the sound of it either.

I know-I know…he’s the President & he deserves more respect than that. What do the American people deserve? Some honesty & less rhetoric taking over our airways & some STABILITY would be nice.

Why are you blaming PRESIDENT OBAMA (not the disrespectful Mr.) for problems that BUSH and his cronies started up????

Why are people are judging Pres. Obama after only 7 months in office but looking the other way at the fact that Bush screwed us over for 8 years???

Besides, thanks to Pres. Obama, I do have extra in my bi-weekly paycheck. It’s not much, but it’s still better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick.

I am retired but I thought people making less than $250,000 were paying less taxes?

Of course, my retirement income is almost a million a year, so I am paying a bit more in taxes, but I don’t know what to do with all of my money anyhow. I AM KIDDING! But, if I was making over $250,000 a year I sure wouldn’t mind paying a bit more in taxes.

  9. Old Man says:

Well……I usually don’t get into questions like this…….but here goes. The man is an excellent "salesman". If a person listens to him long enough…….they might actually start to believe him. That is why I do not listen. He is advertising a commodity, that people want and need these days………hope. Unfortunately he is able to deliver the "sales pitch"…..but not the "product". And sometimes I think he actually believes what he is saying….."himself".
