May not be available this year. The IRS will no longer give out debt indicators, so H&R won’t know if taxes will be withheld for back child support etc.
you will have to check H/R about the loans
but filing is not possible until at least Jan. 16, 2011
in fact, IRS is actually closed for the first 10 days of the year to ‘clean’ up
You can’t actually file a tax return until mid-January. IRS has not released an exact date yet. Getting one of those ripoff HRB loans is NOT "filing a tax return."
actually, yes there is an set date Jan 14, 2011. the first day to e-file your tax return.
Dear d: If you are looking for money – Dec 6 or sooner is the date for the "Emerald Advance". This is an advance on your next years refund. You will need a recent pay stub and a photo ID to apply. Look in your area for an H&R Block office that offers this product. $30 to set it up.

You will be able to start with your 2010 federal income tax return after the IRS gets the 2010 tax returns available toward the end of the year and not before that.
Probably some time after thanks giving and may be even to the middle of December before you will be to apply for and get the high priced loans that you will have to qualify for this year because of some changes that have been made in the processing of the loans.
And that will not be an exactly correctly completed income tax that you will be able to file to the IRS and that the IRS will be accepting until some time in the middle of January 2011 when the IRS makes the final decision about this matter.
Hope that you find the above enclosed information useful good luck to you.
The IRS starts accepting returns in mid January.
Some preparers give their ripoff loans before that, but they can’t file your return until mid-January AND if you have W-2 income they’re legally required to see your W-2 before filing.
